Designing environment friendly and high-technology driven processes is the primary focus of the COVENTYA R&D teams to ensure compliancy with regulations and act in the direction of sustainable development.

These commitments are made possible and accredited to a skilled, worldwide team of Scientists, Engineers and Technicians. This knowledge circulates within our six R&D Centers located in:

  • Treviso (Venice) and Agliana (Florence), Italy
  • Gütersloh (Hannover), Germany
  • Clichy (Paris), France
  • Oriskany, NY and Cleveland, OH in the USA.

Our equipment is dedicated to the analysis and characterization of deposits and solutions. It consists of a complete range of state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation.

In addition, customized and thorough analysis is made available through an intensive collaboration with Universities for Auger and XPS analysis or GDOES measurements. This collaboration is not limited to analytical work, but also in European projects or PhD thesis to combine the knowledge of renowned Scientists with our Researchers.

This very organization enables our Group to adequately answer both international and local Customer’s requests. Needs are identified at their grass roots by the Key Industry Manager (KIM) and Product Manager networks and translated by our R&D Group into innovative processes and customized solutions.

COVENTYA R&D is able to develop i.e. its own range of organo-mineral finishes with the monitoring of coefficient of friction to create high corrosion resistant, trivalent Chrome-based conversion coatings for Zinc, and breakdown resistance electrolytes for alkaline Zinc Nickel deposits.

Several patents have been applied and granted over the past years to better protect our inventions.
