Your missions

Under the supervision of the European Technical Director, you will be in charge of the following missions:

 

  • Manage COVENTYA patent database
  • Collect, analyse and follow up the R&D department inventions and assess patentability
  • Conduct research of prior art
  • Formalize and submit patent applications to the Intellectual Property cabinet
  • In collaboration with the Intellectual Property cabinet, apply and follow up patents in Europe and in the rest of the world
  • Establish and control the budget dedicated to the intellectual property
  • Organize and lead the Patent Committee meetings
  • Oversee the competitors patents and proceed with oppositions and infringement actions when necessary

Other missions will be allocated to you according to your skills.

Your Profile

  • Master degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5-year experience in the field of patents, ideally with a chemistry background. Experience in the field of surface finishing would be appreciated
  • Good knowledge in mathematics and chemistry, computer skills are valued
  • Fluent in English, skills in German, Italian or French are appreciated

 

Full-time permanent position located in Villeneuve-la-Garenne (92), available from October 2018.
