ENOVA OPULENT is a process for chemically deburring, polishing – shining and/or the activating iron and steel substrates and is an excellent final surface treatment for steel parts. The process can replace mechanical finishing in many applications and is ideal before other finishing processes. It can be used prior to electroplating to improve the coverage, distribution, and adhesion of electroplated coatings. Producing a smooth substrate surface also improves the corrosion resistance for many applications. The process can also be used prior to phosphating which also improves a fine grain phosphate structure or prior to many blackening processes to provide a more uniform appearance and black coloration.
