Versatile, High Performance Acid Zinc Plating Process
ZETAPLUS MERIT E Process is a high performance chloride zinc plating addition agent system. It is formulated specifically for installations that utilize mixed
Potassium/ammonium chloride and/or ammonium chloride electrolytes.
The process utilizes a new and innovative surfactant technology that exhibits excellent emulsifying capabilities and assistance in building thickness and brightness in the low current density area while exhibiting a burn free deposit, even at high cathode current densities.
Features & Benefits
- Exceptionally bright, very fine grained deposits
- Developed specifically for high volume production applications
- Suitable for both rack and barrel operations
- Non-foaming surfactant system perfectly suited for high agitation/high current density plating
- Excellent emulsifying capabilities
- Excellent low current density brightness – even at commercial zinc plate thicknesses
- Excellent temperature stability and high cloud point
- Extremely bright low current density deposits
- Simplified iron control of operating solution
- Suitable for rack and barrel applications
- Electrolyte component concentrations are lower than most competitive processes, greatly reducing the cost associated with drag-out
