Nickel and Cobalt Free Palladium-Iron Alloy
DECOMET 460 NF is a new, innovative process that produces a Palladium – Iron alloy deposit of a colour corresponding to L value of 87. It has been developed to optimize Palladium concentration in the final deposit.
The process works well as a Gold deposit substrate and act like a Gold spread and migration barrier towards base material. It is easy to use and does not require any special equipment.
Having similar corrosion resistance and colour coordinates to Palladium/Nickel DECOMET 460 NF performs ideally as its substitute in hypoallergenic applications.

This process belongs toDECOMET LINE
DECOMET is a full range of pure and alloyed Palladium plating processes. They provide an excellent white bright deposits that are ductile and resistant to wear and corrosion.
Due to their highly decorative aspect DECOMET processes can be used as final finishing coats. What’s more, having similar reactions to Gold deposits they can also be combined with gold layers (ex. PARADOR Line) in order to reduce production costs.
Under the DECOMET brand the NF Series – a Nickel free process range is also available. It consists of very stable alkaline processes that produce highly corrosion resistant deposits
As hypoallergenic deposits they are an ideal replacement for Palladium/Nickel in nickel free applications.
