Micro – Fissured Electrolytic Nickel Plating Process
CRITERION MC 300 process is a high performance system developed to enhance the corrosion protection provided by a bright nickel deposit in a duplex or triplex nickel plating application. The process deposit creates a high degree of micro-cracks (fissures) in the subsequent chromium layer, providing for an overall deposit with superior corrosion protection.
Features & Benefits
- Uniform micro-cracked deposit
- Easily applied to objects with a complex shape
- Superior corrosion protection
- Excellent chrome receptivity
- Meets automotive OEM specifications
Fields of application
- Automotive exterior and interior trim and accessories
This process belongs toCRITERION LINE
CRITERION is a line of nickel technologies designed to produce specialized nickel deposits that are used in conjunction with a bright nickel and a chrome layer.
CRITERION processes are formulated to produce sulfur-free, high sulfur and micro-discontinuous deposits in duplex and triplex layers to meet specific deposit criteria and corrosion protection required by todays OEM’s.
The line contains processes suitable for steel, aluminum, zinc dye cast, copper and copper alloys, as well as POP applications.
