Boric Acid Free Acid Electrolytic Zinc Plating Process
ZETAPLUS 460 BF zinc plating process is the latest evolution of processes that work at temperatures between 25 – 50°C without Boric Acid.
The ZETAPLUS 460 BF additives system allows obtaining Zinc deposits having the same features as previous best processes without using Boric Acid or Ammonium.
It keeps a high solution clouding point, even with high saline concentrations, without limiting or slowing down ion Iron to purify.
Features & Benefits
- Boric Acid and Ammonium free
- Bright and leveled deposits
- Excellent bright throwing-power
- Low bath temperature
- Biodegradable surfactants agents
- Deposition on simple Steel, alloyed Steel and Cast Iron
- It reduces the drag-out waste of the zinc plating bath, allowing for a recovery reintegration
Fields of application
- Automotive industry
- Fastener industry
- Building industry
- Corrosion protection for other industrial applications
This process belongs toZETAPLUS LINE
ZETAPLUS is an ammonium free process line for acid Zinc plating. It is characterised by excellent brightness, throwing power, levelling and metal distribution.
ZETAPLUS Zinc layers are very ductile. They produce excellent results on cast iron parts. Plus, the electrolyte provides a very high temperature stability
The processes of ZETAPLUS line can be post-treated with all conventional passivates and are suitable for rack and barrel application.
