Blue/Iridescent Cobalt-Free Trivalent Passivate for Alkaline Zinc
LANTHANE 317 CF is a thick layer passivate for electroplated zinc surfaces. LANTHANE 317 CF forms a uniform clear yellowish film. The passivate is applicable for zinc deposits from acid and alkaline cyanide free electrolytes.
LANTHANE 317 CF works on the basis of trivalent chromium compounds and contains no cobalt or any other CMR substances. Brightness and colour of the passivated parts are very stable even after heat treatment (3h/210°C and 24h/120°C). The temperature stability is generally better on acid zinc.
