Coventya embarks on a full ESG process via ISO 14001

COVENTYA has begun a groupwide comprehensive process to become fully ESG compliant and completed ISO 14001 certification for Germany and Sweden in the framework of a European group certificate. 

In recent years, the public recognition of a higher need for companies to adopt a more stringent approach to Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) matters. After many years of pursuing a green approach in our R&D and Operations, Coventya has decided to complete ISO 14001 for all group companies after the ones in India, Malaysia, Sweden. The certificate was delivered on November 4, 2020. More than 10 % of all group R&D efforts are historically geared towards environmentally friendly chemistries as shown by the recent launches of SILKEN BOND, DURATRI 240 and many others, representing game changers for the industry. Comprehensive programs for all employees to reduce Green House Gases (GHG) in numerous corporate domains constitute other building blocks in our ESG program. Striving to fulfill certain UN criteria or responding to demands of DRIVE SUSTAINABILITY, a large initiative of the automotive industry, has become a daily challenge for our management teams.
